shap shot in Vista

Is there an application in Vista to take snap shot of the screen, or part of it?
thanks

You can use the Snipping Tool, you can type in "snip" to the start menu search box and it should show up, or go to All Programs>Accessories>Snipping Tool. You may want to change the option to not put the default red boarder around the captured image though. ---------- Mark Dietz PROnetworks <http://www.pro-networks.org>

You just do it like you would always do in XP and prior. (Unless you don't know how.) Use the Print Screen (Sys Rq) key on your keyboard which copies the screenshot into your clipboard, then go into a program such as Paint and paste it. If you want to take a screen shot of just a window, press alt + print screen key. No additional software is required. "jvi" wrote in message

There's also the new SnippingTool in Vista (Accessories), which permits to take a snapshot of a part of the screen. It's very easy !
